Ozark Fence Co., Inc. is a small, family-owned business, and we believe our website should work for everyone — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or other assistive technology. We're committed to making the site easy to use and to fixing barriers when we find them.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These are the widely recognized international standards for making web content more accessible to people with a broad range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments.
What we do
As we build and maintain this site, we work to:
- Use clear, descriptive headings and a logical reading order on every page
- Provide meaningful alternative text for the photos of our work
- Keep color contrast strong enough to read comfortably
- Make every link and button reachable and operable with a keyboard
- Show a visible focus outline so you always know where you are on the page
- Include a "Skip to content" link at the top of each page
- Use plain, straightforward language throughout
- Build the site so it works on phones, tablets, and computers, and scales when you zoom in
Ongoing effort
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time checkbox. As we update pages and add new content, we review them with these goals in mind. Some areas may not yet fully meet our target, and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we keep improving.
