Aluminum is light, doesn't rust, and racks smoothly down a slope — a real advantage on the rolling lots we fence in Bella Vista and Fayetteville. Steel is the heavier-duty choice where security and gates are the point.
Either way, the powder-coat finish is what makes ornamental fence such an easy keeper here: no staining, no painting, no gray-out. It holds its color through our humid summers and freeze-thaw winters. And because Northwest Arkansas clay moves with the seasons, we set the posts deep and true — a metal fence shows a leaning post faster than any other kind, so we don't let it lean.
